Scope: Using Rope access and mobile crane to dismantle, catalogue and remove the 20m high sculpture.
Challenges: The construction, material types, nature and age of the sculpture presented many challenges. Each section was completely unique, delicate and had been in place for 25 years. Limited working space, weather risk, and work adjacent to live roads and pedestrian walkways.
Outcome: Safe completion with no damage to the sculpture, within timescale and budget.
